Welcome to my site and thank you for taking the time to visit. I’ve built this site to give you an insight into my work, my thoughts and my experiences. I’ll continue to build out the site to showcase some of the best resources that I come across in the field of workforce and people analytics.
I specialise in three distinct yet overlapping areas; hr systems of data (from implementation to optimisation), workforce & people analytics (from design to driving meaningful business decisions) and core hr transformation programme activities. I sit in the middle of the Venn diagram of these three activities and am best utilised in either building (including designing), enhancing (which includes fixing) and optimising (which I like to describe as “making things go faster”!).
Lastly, we can work together in either a permanent capacity, fixed term assignment or as a consultant. I leave the choice to you.

I am a firm believer that business processes should be underpinned by robust technology solutions. To that end, I also believe that the first step to a successful implementation is to rigorously assess your business process and set clear expectations for the solution you wish to implement. In the realm of core HR tools, I have been fortunate to lead on implementations of Workday, SAP and latterly Oracle HCM. Given my Talent background, I have deep experience of implementation of various Applicant Tracking Solutions, most notably Taleo and PeopleFluent, as well as Learning Management Systems and Document Management Solutions.

The key, for me, it to make the insight available to all, and in such a way that is completely intuitive to the end user. I also believe in the power of story telling techniques, in order to help provide the context and message that is so often lacking. Finally, I believe that data should drive action and that drive business stewardship comes from gathering insights from a variety of sources.

I am fortunate to have formal Six Sigma (DSS), Continuous Improvement and Change Management skills which I regularly utilise when establishing a baseline for all the programme work I have been involved with. I believe in the benefit of deep planning and regularly reviews in order to ensure programmes and projects of work remain successful and on track. I also believe in building open communications early in my programme work; identifying key sponsors and stakeholders to help embed and bring realisation to the change programmes in hand. I also believe in challenging the status quo (with data!), as a mechanism to also seek and strive for the next opportunity.
